Vandalism occurs frequently in rural communities. It can be anything from mailbox bashing, property vandalism, and more specifically vandalism of the shoe tree and surrounding area. People in the community think that is just how it is and basically ignore it. Vandalism in a rural community is not just a problem, it is a problem that can be addressed.
